Permanent Outdoor Lighting · Sarasota & Manatee

The roofline, drawn in light.

Permanent outdoor lighting

Architectural lighting for the part of the house landscape lights never reach. LUMA installs permanent roofline lighting on Gulf Coast residences across Sarasota and Manatee Counties: a channel matched to the fascia, individually addressed diodes inside it, and a controller in the rack with the rest of the house. Most nights it is a quiet warm-white line that finishes the elevation. When you want the house bright for security, in your team's colours, or dressed for December, it is one preset, and nothing goes up or comes down.

Every light outside, one keypad

Point at a layer to light it on its own, or pick a mode under the picture. The roofline is the permanent line; the rest is the landscape and lanai lighting it runs with.

A 2700K warm white that reads like landscape lighting, and every team, flag and holiday colour on top.

  1. Roofline

A sealed channel fastened into the fascia, not clipped to a gutter, so the line stays straight and nothing goes up or comes down with the seasons.

  2. Facade

Uplights at the base of the walls and columns wash the stucco, so the house itself reads at night, not only its outline.

  3. Landscape

Sabal palms and planting beds lit from the ground, path lights along the walk, on the same keypad as the house.

  4. Pool and lanai

Pool and spa lights and the lanai downlights as their own scene, for a swim without lighting the whole lot.

  5. Dock

Low lights along the dock edges, on the same schedule as the rest.

  6. Zone by zone

Front roofline, lanai, dock and the garage side each on their own run, so the pool cage can glow while the street side stays dark or warm white.

  7. Set it and forget it

Sunset-on, midnight-off, a schedule for the season and a preset for the date. The lights remember the plan; you stop thinking about them.

Invisible by day, bright by night.

The channel is colour-matched to your fascia or soffit before it is ordered. From the street in daylight it reads as trim; from the street at night it reads as the house.

One house, four evenings.

The same Sarasota residence in the settings owners actually use. Switched from the app, a Lutron keypad by the door, or the evening scene.

Architectural warm white

Architectural warm white

A quiet 2700K line under every overhang that finishes the elevation the way uplighting finishes the palms. This is the everyday setting.

Security

Security

Full-brightness cool white on demand or on a camera event, so the whole front of the house and the motor court are evenly lit.

Game day

Game day

Pewter and red for the Bucs, blue and white for the Rays, kept restrained enough for this house. Scheduled to kick-off if you like.

December

December

Warm white and deep red for the holidays, a preset you set once. Nothing goes up in November and nothing comes down in January.

Questions we get asked

How does it look during the day?

Like trim. The channel is a slim extrusion powder-coated to match your fascia or soffit colour, and the diodes sit inside it. Most visitors do not notice it until you turn it on.

Do you have a warm white?

Yes, and it is what most owners run most nights: a 2700K warm white close to what good landscape lighting produces. The colours are there for when you want them.

Will the channel fit my roofline?

It is cut and fitted on site to your eaves, gables and returns, including barrel-tile rooflines and pool cages. Corners and peaks are planned on the drawing before the ladder goes up.

How is it fixed to the house?

The channel is fastened to the fascia, not clipped to a gutter, so it stays put through summer storms and does not interfere with drainage.

Can it join the rest of the house?

If LUMA did the lighting or automation, the roofline joins the same scenes: Evening turns it on with the lanai, Away turns it off with everything else, and a keypad by the door has a button for it.

What is the warranty?

Warranty terms depend on the product line you choose; we set them out in writing in the proposal, before anything is ordered.
