Your vision. Our wiring.

Architectural lighting in a finished Gulf Coast living room

Who we work with

LUMA works alongside interior designers, architects, and custom builders across Sarasota and Manatee. One contractor for lighting, shading, AV, security, and networking. One schedule. One proposal your client can actually read.

Interior designers

Send the FF&E schedule. We flag anything that needs a dimmer, driver or special wiring before walls close, and one proposal covers fixtures, drivers, dimmers, plates and commissioning.

A floor plan marked up with lighting and low-voltage locations

Architects

We mark up the plan set early: keypad, speaker and camera locations, shade pockets, the equipment room and every conduit run. Submittals in PDF or Revit.

Labelled network and speaker cable run through the studs at rough-in

Custom builders

A rough-in package the electrician installs in one pass, walks before insulation and before drywall, and a trim-out that does not hold up the certificate of occupancy.

How a build runs with us

Four stages, one low-voltage trade, from the drawings to the day the family moves in.

Cutaway of one house in four stages: drawings on the slab, open framing with network cable, a finished wall with keypad, rack and access point, a furnished living room
  1. Plans and specs

We join the kickoff or site walk, review the plans and your FF&E schedule, and mark up every conduit run, box location and equipment room before anything is built.

  2. Rough-in

A single PDF for the electrician: conduit layout, home-run map, box heights, rack dimensions and PoE drops. We walk the job before insulation and before drywall.

  3. Trim-out and commissioning

We install the devices, terminate every cable and program the system while other trades finish.

  4. Handoff

We attend the final walk. Every scene, shade and camera is verified, and the client gets a 60-minute orientation and a printed quick-reference card.

Frequently asked questions

When should we bring you in?

At the plans. If low-voltage is on the first-round electrical drawings, nothing has to be opened up later.

Do you work with our electrician?

Yes. The electrician gets one rough-in package and installs in one pass; we walk the job with them before insulation and before drywall.

Can you work from our drawings?

Yes. We mark up your plan set and return submittals, cut sheets and wiring diagrams as PDF or Revit.

What do you cover?

Lighting control, shading, audio and video, security and networking, under one contractor, one schedule and one RFI queue.

Are you licensed and insured?

LUMA is a Florida licensed low-voltage contractor carrying general liability and workers' comp. A certificate of insurance is available on request.

Do you pay referral fees?

Yes, on signed contracts, paid at commissioning. Ask us for the one-page agreement.

Where do you work?

Sarasota and Manatee Counties: Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Anna Maria Island and Palmetto.

What does the client get at the end?

A verified system, a 60-minute orientation, a printed quick-reference card, and a service team that already knows the house.
